Anna Geyer

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at Delft University of Technology.

My research concerns applied analysis, PDEs and dynamical systems with applications to wave propagation. More specifically, I work on nonlinear dispersive equations which arise as approximations of the Euler equations for homogeneous, inviscid and incompressible fluids with a free boundary.

I am co-organizing the PDE seminar at TU Delft.

I obtained my Ph.D. “On some aspects of nonlinear water waves” in July 2013 at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Adrian Constantin. During my postdoctoral studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, I collaborated with various members of the Dynamical Systems Group (GSD) there. In January 2017 I started my position as assistant professor at TU Delft, which was tenured in 2019.

I am currently on maternity leave.
